Leeds quartet Forever Cult unveil a video for latest single Usurper. Abrasive, fuzzy and oscillating, the track is a sonic depiction of a night out escalating. Usurper is also the first track featuring the band’s newly recruited second guitarist Wilko.

Produced By Matt Peel (Eagulls, Bad Breeding) at Leeds studio The Nave, Usurper follows 2017’s EP Homewrecker on Clue Records which streamed with DIY Magazine pre-release. The band recently returned to The Nave to record the follow up to this EP, due later this year – check out an in the studio gallery at Upset magazine.

Forever Cult – ‘Usurper’

We’ve been quiet for a little while but it’s taken time to develop our sound again. New songs are coming thick and fast in a totally different way to usual. We’re writing all together in a practise room jamming out ideas more than before. It’s really exciting all over again and has really given us a new lease of life
– Alex (Bass)
Forever Cult won’t be hiding away in the studio, announcing their support to Queen Zee on select shows, alongside Falsetival, Live At Leeds, Hit The North, The Great Escape and Neverworld festivals. Further live dates will be announced soon.

This is the start of a new and exciting chapter for Forever Cult. Watch this space for further news.
